No more 'together let's change the world π' generic AI crap
Published about 1 month agoΒ β’Β 3 min read
Hi Reader,
Tired of AI content that sounds like generic robot nonsense?
I've been deep in AI-content-generation hyperfocus in a few ways - some for years and some for days... Let me explain.
My hyperfocus of the last few years - the Content Forest:
Building a framework and system to help me easily create and share content that's aligned with my business goals, my ideas, my values, and what people want to learn from me. I love AI, automation and I love learning about new ways to use these. But I am so flippin' sick of seeing the same AI-isms being shared out into the world by people who are putting ALL their trust in the hands of the robots.
AI can be incredibly helpful, and AI can be incredibly wrong.
AI can be a useful tool to help you be the best version of yourself. And AI can be a fast-track way to appear productive while sharing the most naff, generic stuff.
What I want for me, for you, for everyone, is that we all have clear, helpful ways to use AI to draw out the best of our own ideas. To remix our own thoughts. To resurface what we have already thought, spoken, written.
The Content Forest is a framework to help give YOUR voice to AI, so that what you pull out is new and better versions of your own thought-leadership.
In the last few weeks I've made HUGE progress in my 'Content Forest' framework and workflows. It's a MASSIVE project that I've been chipping away at for over 2 years, and I'm so delighted with the stage I'm at. I can 'see' how it all flows together, whereas before, it was a fuzzy dream.
Now that I've taken this concept so far, I'm delighted to share some of the pieces of my Content Forest with you!
One of the main ways that I ensure AI outputs are genuine to my own voice is by 'feeding' my AI systems lots of my own content. For example, transcripts of my webinars and courses.
There are many ways you can feed AI your own voice, ideas and perspective. There's no right or wrong way - what's truly important is sharing bits of your brain with AI as a starting point.
This is probably THE single most important way to ensure you don't end up sharing generic AI robot nonsense.

As you can probably see, I have so much to teach and share about this. My experiments and deep interest in this area has taught me a tonne of what works and what sucks, and I'm stoked to be sharing some of the key building blocks of the Content Forest with you in a free training session next week!
So if you're sick of feeling like AI-generated content just sounds like everyone else's, and you're ready to level-up and be an AI queen or king, join me next Friday (or catch the recording) - tap that button up there to get all the info and register free!
Happy weekend ahead friend!

Hi Reader, Today is International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD). I've been thinking deeply and experiencing the ableism that seeps through into so many spaces where folks (especially big organisations) claim to be supportive, accessible and inclusive. And that's where it ends, at the claim. The reality is possibly WORSE than if they had not claimed any access efforts at all⦠"but at least we tried, right?" Wrong. Performative Accessibility happens when spaces, events and organisations...

Hi Reader, Tldr (too long didn't read): I share my experiences attending a conference that had a poorly-created 'quiet room' and advocacted hard to get them to improve it. I share about why this was so problematic. At the end I share key points 'What does it look like to do better inclusion and accessibility?' you can scroll down to there if you just want the quick tips! Last week I spent Monday to Friday attending the incredible SXSW Sydney conference, a wide-ranging conference that spans...
